25-Apr.,2006,General Adminstration of Quality supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of The PRC.issued 《CHINA-ETHIOPIA COOPERATION AGREEMENT ON QUALITY INSPECTION》 with Ethiopia in Beijin.China will issue CIQ for all shipment from China to Ethiopia.

        1. From 01-Oct.,2006, all Bureau of Commodit Inspection start to issue CIQ. All the export company should request to do CIQ before ETD.

        2. All the goods which value more than $2000,should do CIQ.

        3. All the related procedures and documents should provide as Bureau rule.

        The CIQ include Quality,Quantity,Safty,Healthy,Environmental inspection,Price audit,Supervise loading and packing.All the inspecton standard is base on Ethiopian standard.

        5. After Inspection,the Bureau issue CIQ to shipper within 5 days.Shipper should provide CIQ and all the related documents to consignee to do Customs clearance in Ethiopia.

        6. All the company who didn't do CIQ or export counterfeit products to Ethiopia, they will be punished severely.

        7. All the CIQ charge should follow Chinese law and China-Ethiopia agreement.
